Coronavirus Response_Inscopix

Dear Community Member,

We are living in unprecedented times. As the COVID-19 pandemic escalates across the globe, life as we know it has been disrupted with travel restrictions, quarantines, university closures, and other constraints. The measures instituted by governments worldwide are necessary and justified to stem the spread of the disease and to save lives.

We at Inscopix also have a collective social and moral responsibility to do everything in our capacity to help stop the spread of the virus.
Inscopix is adhering to all our local and state guidelines, and we are exploring steps to help our local communities and healthcare systems.

I wished to also take this opportunity to assure you that we are working tirelessly and creatively to honor our commitments to you. As we navigate this uncharted territory, we are operating on the following principles:
  • People First: Above all else, we want our team to practice social distancing to keep themselves, their families and communities, and our customers safe. We have moved to remote work in all aspects of the organization, including for our Sales Representatives and Field Scientific Consultants.

  • Serving You Remotely: While your laboratory may close temporarily, we know that your science continues. Inscopix remains operational and our Field Scientific Consultants and Palo Alto-based customer support team stand ready to provide the same level of care that you have come to love and expect from them, even in remote settings. They will check in on your projects regularly, provide experimental design consultation, help you with data analysis, and review your manuscripts and grant proposals. Our sales team is also more committed than ever to work with you via videoconferencing to explore the types of research questions that you can ask with our technology. Please note that as we do our best to fulfill all your orders, you might experience delays in receiving shipments. We will transparently work with you to align on expected shipment dates and appreciate your patience and support during these trying times.

  • Virtual Community: Social distancing does not have to mean social (and scientific) isolation. Inscopix will be unveiling a packed schedule of online scientific seminars, journal clubs, software demo sessions for data analysis, and other instructional sessions in the coming days to help foster a virtual community for neuroscientists. Please follow us on social media to learn more about new events each week. We truly believe that the boldest ideas and most innovative research are often forged in times of crisis. Our neuroscientists, engineers, and data scientists are excited to engage with you to make great things happen and to push neuroscience forward during this phase.

These are increasingly uncertain times, but we continue to have steadfast confidence that we will all emerge stronger and that the scientific enterprise will emerge stronger. Our lines of communication remain open – please contact us if you have any questions on our operations during these times, and as always, please let us know how we can better support you.

Best wishes - and stay safe and healthy,
